"The Flower Murrini"
It is my pleasure to show you how to make my flower murrinis, I hope that you will feel inspired by the process and will create out of the simple steps shown in the tutorial many more flowers of your own design.
My intention with this tutorial is to make it possible for anyone to be able to create a beautiful flower murrini, to understand the principle design elements and to apply them to other flowers.
You often hear how it can take 8 hours or more to create a Tonbodama style flower murrini, and although I admire that, I find that most of us really don’t want to spend that much time on this.
I really wanted to develop a way to make the whole process easier and faster but at the same time still create a complex looking flower.
And so I present to you this collection of flower murrini, we will start the tutorial with the easiest flower and work to the more advanced flowers, step by step.
The tutorials are written in mind for the intermediate/advanced bead maker. Good heat control is essential to achieve the desired results.
Easy to follow photographs will lead you through the tutorial. With each photograph, there are concise written explanations.
In addition to learning how to make great flower murrinis, I have also added a full tutorial demonstrating how to apply the murrini to the bead, In both the making of the murrini and the application I have developed my own techniques to bring out the beauty and the mystery of the flower murrinis.
The 5 individual tutorials comprises of:
An introduction
Materials and tool requirements
Glass requirements
Part 1 the Daisy flower
Part 2 the Daffodil flower
Part 3 the Anemone flower
Part 4 the Pink daisy flower
Part 5 the Application of the flower murrinis
The tutorials are available as instant download as soon as payment is made.
